The Office of Research prepares reports at the request of the Comptroller and the General Assembly on various state and local government issues. The office assists the State Funding Board in analyzing the annual economic forecast prepared by the Center for Business and Economic Research; assists the Comptroller with preparation of fiscal notes for the Fiscal Review Committee; monitors legislation; and analyzes the budget.
